Summary Post: Growing Gospel Kids
I’ll be honest: this is a post series that was hard to write at times because there were so many moments when I needed to stop and grieve the moments I failed. But I wanted to write this, despite my failures, to encourage you by setting a vision of what the parenting task looks like.
I know that as a parent, it is easy to lose sight of what God intends for our children. Like I said, I failed at this in so many places. But I hope that you also know that even in those moments, God is near, ready to receive, comfort, and encourage you as you try again. He doesn’t expect perfection. Instead, He gives grace.
So I hope you will read this series, expecting that along the way, you will be stretched—but also in that process, you will be sanctified to become more like Him. Do not be afraid, but instead, let the gospel be your encouragement. It has for me—and I hope it will be for you too.
