Even Better Than Eden: Ch. 9, City, Quote 2

Even Better Than Eden: Ch. 9, City, Quote 2

Interestingly, God does not immediately whisk his children back home. He allows us to stay “in exile” for a little while.

What is “ordinary life” for you? In what ways can you do good here?

What can you pray for—for your home and loved ones? for your neighborhood? for your country?

How are you doing with being and living distinctly differently among the community and people God has planted you in? How might this picture of salt and light, a city on a hill, be made manifest more clearly in your life? What would that involve?

Please share your thoughts!
