March 2013 Mini Elephants month already gone. Sigh. Let's see how I did.

  • finish memorizing Philippians 1
  • read Bringing Up Boys by James Dobson
  • read through the middle of the Gospel of Matthew
  • do a mini-study on Ministry (Disciple Journal)
  • limit my carb and desserts to appropriate limits, at lunch and dinner in particular
  • increase my fruit/vegetable intake
  • go out to lunch with Janna on Feb. 15, after MOPS
  • start working through Easter hymns with my kids: Because He Lives, Christ the Lord is Risen Today, I Know That My Redeemer Lives
  • have an extended personal retreat time Feb. 15
  • have one family over Feb 23 (actually we did this March 2)
  • blog on Tuesdays and Thursdays, along with scheduled reviews for the Schoolhouse Crew
  • marriage session with my husband Feb. 16 at Wintersburg Presbyterian Church
  • sewing day for homeschool group on Feb. 20

For March, my plans are:

  • memorize half of Philippians 2
  • read The Meaning of Marriage by Tim and Kathy Keller and Abba's Child by Brennan Manning
  • finish the gospel of Matthew
  • learn 2-3 new vegetable dishes for dinner
  • go out to lunch with Matthew for his birthday
  • Easter hymns scheduled from last month
  • extended personal time on March 15
  • host overnighter for the student council
  • blog Tuesday and Thursday on a homeschooling theme
  • complete lesson plans for the rest of the school year
  • take a Sabbath weekend March 16-17: that is, no school work/prep, etc.

Heavenly Father, thank You that each new month gives me the opportunity to look anew at where You are leading me. I offer these plans to You. Any that do not fit Your plans for me---please remove them and help me to relinquish them. I trust You know better than I do. In Jesus' name, Amen.
