As I had mentioned in my last post, if you've been wondering if I've dropped off the planet, I want to assure you that I haven't! I decided to take a break this month so that I can devote my full energies to cleaning out the garage and going through all the boxes that I can. Whatever I can do by the end of August will be that much less I will have to deal with later. Sorry there aren't any pictures on this post...but when the dust settles (literally!), I hope to get some before and after photos in. I have been ruthlessly throwing out things and making it my goal to keep only the things that I use, love, or would really like to come back to later. I have found myself praying for the strength to let things go, not just to get rid of it, but so that I may have the freedom to create the home I envision and desire. If you haven't read my posts in April, you can check 'em out! Going through that envisioning process has really helped me to whittle away the excess stuff and consider new uses for old things.
So, that's what I've been up to. Our "Gotcha Day" for Anah is coming up quickly! September 17 is the day we will be receiving Anah into our family. Once she comes, I have a feeling that organizing is not going to be high on my priority list. I guess this is "nesting" for this "pregnancy"!
Thanks so much for joining us in the journey. I'll still be blogging my reviews for the Homeschool Crew, and hope to squeeze in a post or two each week as I can. My plan is to journal our journey in September, so stay tuned!
Until then, enjoy the rest of your summer (whatever's left of it!)!
